Progress Tab, on one page
Progress Tab is a free browser extension that replaces the new tab with one verified, sourced number about how the world is really changing — you guess it first, then see the real figure.
The guess-then-reveal method comes from Hans Rosling’s Factfulness: most people picture the world darker than the data shows, and seeing your own guess against the sourced number is what recalibrates. Progress Tab turns that into a daily habit. It is deliberately not a "positive news" feed — several of its indicators are not improving, and every fact links to its primary source.
